Raw HTML versus the rendered page

The HTML the server first sends and the page the browser shows after JavaScript runs may differ. If a product description, price or FAQ only arrives in the second step, it is not in the first HTML.

Google renders pages most of the time. Many AI bots read only the first HTML.

See the gap yourself

Open the first HTML with "view page source" in your browser and search for an important sentence. If you cannot find it, that information comes through JavaScript.

AILens's TEC-004 control makes the same comparison for every page and shows the visible content ratio.

Move the most important information first

You do not have to rewrite everything. Make sure the product name, price, stock, company details and answers to common questions are in the first HTML.

Server-side rendering or pre-rendering can be turned on with a few settings in most modern frameworks.

Measure after the fix

After the change, audit the same pages again and check whether the visible content ratio moved.

The effect on visibility may not show right away. Bots take time to crawl the page again.
